Most people stay up on dishes and laundry, if only because they have to eat, and public nudity is frowned on. Maybe there’s a half-hearted vacuuming or sweeping in there, too. But the point of Spring Cleaning is to take care of all the little things that build up during the year.
It can get overwhelming to do it all at once, and if you’re like me, you’ll look at the miles-long list of cleaning and organizing, and you’ll give up and go eat chocolate instead. So I’ll be posting a series of Spring Cleaning Challenges, designed to take things in easy, manageable steps.
We’re going to start with the ceilings. Walk around your entire house with a broom, long-handled duster, whatever you prefer. Are there cobwebs? You probably didn’t even notice them, did you? Well, sweep them! Get them off the ceilings and walls. If you have vaulted ceilings, like me, you might need a stepladder to reach some areas. It only takes a few minutes per room. That’s it, easy peasy lemon squeezy. Are you ready to rumble? Ready, set, GO!
